📖Overview of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram

Shawwal-ul-Mukarram begins with Eid-ul-Fitr, a day of celebration, gratitude, and congregational Eid prayer. Fasting on the 1st of Shawwal is Haram. Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) highlights the virtues of the 6 voluntary fasts of Shawwal, which carry the reward of fasting the entire year when combined with Ramadan.

Special Significance

Reward of full year's fasts: Rasoolullah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if he fasted for a lifetime' (Sahih Muslim 1164).
