Surah Ash-Sharh

سورة الشرح

Surah #948 VersesMeccanJuz 30
Translation:

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Ayah 1Juz 3

أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ ﴿١

Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast

Ayah 2Juz 3

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ ﴿٢

And We removed from you your burden

Ayah 3Juz 3

ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ ﴿٣

Which had weighed upon your back

Ayah 4Juz 3

وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ ﴿٤

And raised high for you your repute

Ayah 5Juz 3

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ﴿٥

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease

Ayah 6Juz 3

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرٗا ﴿٦

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease

Ayah 7Juz 3

فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ ﴿٧

So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]

Ayah 8Juz 3

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب ﴿٨

And to your Lord direct [your] longing
