Surah Al-Kawthar
سورة الكوثر
Surah #1083 VersesMeccanJuz 30
Translation:
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Ayah 1Juz 3
إِنَّآ أَعۡطَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡكَوۡثَرَ ﴿١﴾
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar
Ayah 2Juz 3
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنۡحَرۡ ﴿٢﴾
So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]
Ayah 3Juz 3
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلۡأَبۡتَرُ ﴿٣﴾
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off
About Surah Al-Kawthar
Surah Al-Kawthar was revealed to comfort Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) when enemies taunted him after his infant son passed away. Allah promised him Al-Kawthar—an abundant river in Paradise and boundless blessings—declaring that his enemies would be the ones cut off.
