Prophet Ibrahim & Prophet Ismail · 第 1 集,共 2 集 · 7 分钟阅读

In the sacred history of Islam, Prophet Ibrahim (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) stands as Khalilullah — the Intimate Friend of Allah. His life was a continuous series of trials, each demonstrating unwavering surrender to Allah Almighty.

When Allah commanded Prophet Ibrahim to leave his beloved wife Syeda Hajar and infant son Ismail in the unpopulated, barren valley of Makkah near the hillocks of Safa and Marwah, Prophet Ibrahim fulfilled the command without hesitation. As he walked away, Syeda Hajar asked, "Has Allah commanded you to do this?" Prophet Ibrahim replied, "Yes." With firm faith, she responded, "Then Allah will never abandon us."

When the small water supply was exhausted and infant Ismail cried in thirst, Syeda Hajar ran seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah seeking water or a passing caravan. This urgent, devoted running became so beloved to Allah Almighty that He established it as a compulsory ritual (Sa'i) for every pilgrim performing Hajj and Umrah until the Day of Judgment.

By divine decree, Angel Jibril (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) struck the earth at the feet of infant Ismail, and water gushed forth abundantly. Syeda Hajar contained the flowing water saying "Zam Zam" (Stop, Stop!), forming the blessed well of Zamzam that has nourished billions of believers for thousands of years.
